The Springs of Hope High School opened on 26th February 2007 with 27 pupils (15 girls and 12 boys). All the children who attend the school must have passed their primary school exams with a 1st, 2nd or 3rd grade. We currently have pupils in the first two years of secondary school (Senior 1 and Senior 2). Springs of Hope High School follows the Ugandan national curriculum and we currently have 10 full-time and part-time teachers for the following subjects:

• Mathematics                                        

• Chemistry                                

• Physics

• Biology                                                            

• History                                     

• Geography                               

• Religious Education

• Fine Art     

• Entrepreneurship

• English            

• Kiswahili

• Luganda

The Ugandan School year has three terms and begins in early February every year. Exams are held at the beginning and end of each term and promotion to the next school year depends upon your results in the third term. We also plan to run a number of extra-curricular activities during the school year including:

• National post primary games for football, netball and volleyball in March and April

• In school competition in different sports and athletes in the 2nd term

• Music, dance and drama competitions in the third term
